Chess Strategy Game Poster Print

This is chess drawn by hand and from the heart: an ink-black board that ripples like cloth, pieces standing at cheerful angles, and one king already toppled in the foreground — a game in mid-argument rather than a diagram. The loose brushwork keeps it art first and identity second, though it still tells a visitor exactly what happens at that table. Black and white goes anywhere, but a wood frame warms the ink; studies, game corners and teenagers' rooms take it naturally. Mid sizes suit it best, grouped with books and an actual board nearby. It pairs well with the catalog's more abstract chessboard design for a two-print set.
