Sports & Games posters

Sport deserves better than a shrine of plastic memorabilia. This collection treats games — on fields, boards, tables and courts — as the cultural rituals they are: prints celebrating competition, strategy, vintage sporting style and the quiet intensity of a game well played. The natural homes are dens, games rooms, studies and hallways that need energy; a chess or sporting print above a desk lends a room a thinking, competitive calm, while bolder graphic pieces can hold a whole wall at 18×24 or 24×36 in a social space. Smaller sizes work as a series — a run of 8×10s along a corridor reads like a season unfolding. Dark-wood frames suit the heritage, club-room end of the collection; black keeps the modern graphic pieces sharp. Choose by loyalty and by love of the game itself, in that order if you can manage it — the wall has to live with both.

How this collection is chosen: The spirit of play — competition, ritual and fandom rendered as art, for the rooms where games actually happen.
