Apollo 11 Living Room Poster

The lettering does the showing off here: APOLLO spelled in chunky cut-out letters, orange and cream with a blue disc standing in for one O, above an astronaut planting a flag on a cream moonscape. Earth hangs small and blue in the corner. It is the landing remembered the way a toy box would tell it — flat shapes, primary colours, no shadows worth mentioning — and the friendliest of the Apollo designs in this catalog. A white frame keeps the cream ground light and lets the blue disc pop; black would make it moodier than it wants to be. Try 16×20 in for a child's room, playroom or relaxed living room, ideally beside other primary-colour prints rather than photographs.
