How big is it, really?

Every size against a 7 ft wall and a 5′6″ figure. If you are between sizes, the larger one is rarely the regret.

Curator’s note

Aoshima, a small island in Japan's Ehime prefecture, became world-famous for a simple demographic fact: cats comfortably outnumber people. This travel-poster treatment lines three of them up like a welcoming committee — black, white and ginger, sitting in a row — with the island's red-roofed houses, a ferry and a big red sun behind them, and the name in chunky red, blue and black lettering. For cat households it is the rare print that is both a joke and a postcard. It brightens kitchens and hallways that take themselves too seriously; a white or pale frame keeps it sunny at 12×18, and it pairs with the catalog's reading-cat poster for a feline diptych.

Complete the wall: pair it with Books & Reading

A different subject on purpose — Books & Reading prints with the same dominant colour (red, measured from each artwork), so the pair reads as a set.
