How big is it, really?
Every size against a 7 ft wall and a 5′6″ figure. If you are between sizes, the larger one is rarely the regret.
Curator’s note
Georges Méliès put a rocket in the Moon's eye in 1902 and invented science-fiction cinema in the process, and this design retells it as a black-ink woodcut: the cratered Moon grimacing around the capsule, stars scattered, a little observatory and rocket waiting below, all inside a rope-twist border. The title is given in both languages, 'A Trip to the Moon' and 'Le Voyage dans la Lune'. Being monochrome, it hangs anywhere — rooms with projectors, film shelves, or any wall that takes movies seriously — and a black or brass-toned frame suits its age. Few prints in this catalog carry a century of cinema history this lightly. Mid sizes keep the line work crisp.
